Refund policy
REFUND AND RETURN POLICY
This policy explains how returns and refunds work at Flameora. We want you to be
satisfied with your purchase. We also want to be clear and honest about what is
and is not eligible for a refund, so there are no surprises.
This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and by
the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002.

1. WHO WE ARE
Flameora is an online store operated in Ontario, Canada. You can reach us at
flameora2@gmail.com for any refund or return inquiry.

2. RETURN WINDOW
You have THIRTY (30) DAYS from the date your order is delivered to request
a return.
To start a return, contact us at flameora2@gmail.com with your order number
and the reason for the return. We will respond within 2 business days with
return instructions.
Returns sent without prior contact and approval cannot be processed.

3. CONDITIONS FOR A RETURN
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
- In its original condition
- Unused, unfilled with fuel, and unfired
- In the original packaging if possible
- Returned with proof of purchase (order number or confirmation email)

4. ITEMS THAT CANNOT BE RETURNED
For safety, regulatory, and hygiene reasons, the following are NOT eligible
for return:
- Lighters that have been filled with butane or kerosene fuel
- Lighters that have been ignited or used
- Items damaged by the customer after delivery
- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
- Items returned without prior approval from our support team
This is consistent with Canadian air transport and consumer safety regulations
on flammable goods. Once a lighter is filled with fuel, it cannot be returned
through the mail under federal transport rules.

5. DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED ITEMS
If your lighter arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered,
contact us at flameora2@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the item and packaging
- A short description of the issue
We will replace the item at no cost or issue a full refund, at your choice.
Defective or damaged items do not require return shipping.

6. REFUND PROCESSING
Once we receive and inspect a returned item, we will notify you whether the
refund is approved.
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 to 10
business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the refund may take an
additional few days to appear in your account.
The original shipping cost is non-refundable except in cases of damaged,
defective, or incorrect items.

7. RETURN SHIPPING
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is
defective, damaged on arrival, or incorrect.
We recommend using a tracked shipping method for any return. Flameora is not
responsible for returns lost in transit.

8. ORDER CANCELLATION
You may cancel an order at no cost if it has not yet been dispatched. Once an
order has been dispatched and a tracking number has been issued, the order
cannot be cancelled and standard return rules apply.

9. NON-DELIVERY
If your order has not arrived within 30 business days of dispatch, contact us
at flameora2@gmail.com. We will investigate with the carrier and either ship
a replacement or issue a full refund.

10. ONTARIO COOLING-OFF PERIOD
Under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002, you may have the right to
cancel certain internet agreements within seven (7) days. To exercise this
right, contact us at flameora2@gmail.com within the cooling-off period with
your order number and a written cancellation request. We will confirm receipt
within 2 business days.
If your order has already been dispatched at the time of cancellation, the
order will be processed under our standard return rules (sections 2 through 7
of this policy) and you will need to return the item once it arrives.

11. STATUTORY RIGHTS
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Ontario Consumer Protection
Act, 2002, or any other applicable Canadian consumer protection law. If
anything in this policy conflicts with those laws, the law applies.
